Legal
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective 8 October 2026
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to every customer of TradeWaaS and to everything published on a site we host, including content we build for you from your brief. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. What isn’t allowed
- Content that is unlawful, misleading or deceptive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful or discriminatory.
- Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights — including photos you don’t have the right to use.
- Impersonating another business, brand or person, or implying an affiliation you don’t have.
- Fake, bought or selectively filtered reviews or testimonials.
- Malware, phishing, or anything that compromises the security of visitors or of our systems.
- Using the site or its contact form to send spam, or collecting visitors’ details for unsolicited marketing.
- Adult content, gambling, weapons sales, or any regulated product or service you aren’t licensed to offer.
- Attempting to access other customers’ sites or data, or to overload or disrupt the platform.
3. Claims about your business
Your site may only claim what’s true and supported by the details you give us: licence and registration numbers exactly as issued, insurance only if you hold it, years in business only if accurate, memberships only if current. We won’t publish claims you haven’t supplied, and we’ll remove claims we have reason to believe are inaccurate.
4. Reporting content
Anyone can report content on a site we host — you don’t need to be a customer. Email report@tradewaas.com.au with:
- the web address of the page;
- what the content is and why you think it breaches this policy or the law (for example, why it is defamatory or infringes your rights);
- your name and how to contact you.
Every site we host links to this address in its footer.
5. What we do with a report
- We acknowledge your report within one business day.
- We review it and, where appropriate, ask the site owner to respond.
- Within 7 days of receiving a complete report, we decide whether to remove or change the content, and tell you and the site owner what we’ve done.
Where content is clearly unlawful or dangerous (for example malware or phishing), we remove it or pause the site immediately.
6. Action we may take
If content breaches this policy we may remove or edit it, pause the site, or end the subscription under our Terms of Service. Where it’s safe to, we’ll tell the site owner what’s wrong and give them a chance to fix it first.
